Baby Dedication

My littlest darling in her dedication gown. I know I have better pictures somewhere that actually show the detail in the gown itself; I'll just have to find them later. I used an old, old Simplicity pattern for the gown, coat, and hat ensemble. So old that the original price read $0.25 and the pattern was printed on actual paper instead of tissue. Have you ever used a pattern like that? Sure is nice not to worry about the pattern pieces tearing when you pin them.

Day One

So this is my first time as a blogger. Honestly, as a stay-at-home mom, what else am I going to do with my time? I want to just share with anyone who cares to look my craft ideas and the odd ways I've come up with to make things I didn't have patterns for. Mostly it'll be stuff I've made for my girls or myself, so I may be the only one who cares, but that's ok.
